Qficient Inc. is a privately held consulting company headquartered in Toronto, Canada. We have been offering services and products targeted at the business process management (BPM) and content management (CM) space since February 1999.

Qficient has founded the Z-Aphrodite open source initiative that provides a development architecture integrating Alfresco ECMS, ZK- direct RIA and DITA frameworks. By combining a robust open source document repository with an advanced information architecture and a rich AJAX user experience Qficient is able to make DITA adoption simple for end users with a low cost price tag.

Qficient's business model is two-fold:

• Qficient offers strategy and technical consulting in the BPM and CM space for various industries including financial services, government and manufacturing. Our offerings include services from needs analysis through to process reengineering and execution of the delivery of technology solutions to meet the process-centric needs of our clients.
• In addition, through our packaged product development division, Qficient delivers shrink-wrapped products to address specific requirements such as skills management, quality-control and workflow load-balancing.
